Transforming agricultural and urban waste into eco-sustainable products
Banbasi is a pioneering startup incubated at IGKV, Raipur, committed to transforming agricultural waste into eco-sustainable products. Our purpose is to produce food by organic means, enhance soil health, combat climate change, and promote responsible resource utilization by repurposing farm residues into high-value solutions, we empower communities with sustainable alternatives that enrich the environment and support regenerative agriculture
We envision a future where agricultural waste is fully repurposed into valuable, eco-sustainable solutions that supports both the environment and rural livelihoods. Through innovation and collaboration, we aim to lead the transition to a circular agricultural economy, ensuring that every residue contributes to soil health, farmer prosperity, and a greener planet.
We transform agricultural and urban waste into high-value, eco-sustainable products, driving sustainability and empowering rural communities. Through innovation and resource efficiency, we enhance soil health, support farmers, and promote a circular economy for a waste-free future.
We directly buy agricultural residues like paddy straw, rice husk, and vegetable waste from farmers—materials that would otherwise be burnt or discarded, harming both environment and income potential. By transforming these into eco-friendly products, we not only reduce air pollution but also offer farmers a valuable alternative revenue stream.
We also partner with municipal bodies to collect urban kitchen waste, putting it to productive use in our sustainable product lines. This synergy between rural and urban ecosystems forms the backbone of our circular economy model—restoring balance, reducing waste, and creating impact across the value chain.
By using the dry agriculture waste as organic medium, we grow high-quality oyster mushrooms—an alternate, plant-based protein that supports clean nutrition and responsible farming. It's a thoughtful solution that uplifts rural livelihoods, reduces environmental impact, and feeds a growing demand for sustainable food.
We transform urban kitchen waste into premium-quality vermicompost through a natural, earthworm-driven process. This initiative reflects our commitment to regenerative agriculture and a circular economy—where everyday waste becomes a powerful asset for ecological renewal.
Biochar is a dark, carbon-rich substance created through pyrolysis—a clean, high-temperature process that thermally decomposes plant based organic material in the absence of oxygen. From sustainable agriculture to environmental restoration, biochar is a transformative tool that turns waste biomass into a long-term resource for soil, climate, and clean water.
We collaborate closely with farmers to create alternative income sources by transforming agricultural waste into valuable products. At the same time, we guide them toward regenerative practices—restoring soil health, conserving resources, and reducing environmental impact. By proving that “no waste is a waste,” we’re helping farming communities thrive sustainably while building a circular, resilient agricultural future.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
